Many of us have taken out a funeral plan but very few have taken the next step of helping those who we will leave behind understand what we want our funeral to be like.

From a basic free conversation to help you record your simple wishes about funeral style and content, to a completely scripted celebration with selected poetry and music, I can help you take the pressure off your loved ones when the time comes.

For a fully scripted service £120

If I eventually deliver your funeral celebration this fee will then be deducted  

Memorial Celebration

The impact of Covid has resulted in many people not having the opportunity to come together with friends and family to mark the passing of a loved one. A traditional memorial service can be a dour and dreary event, but this doesn’t need to be the case. if you wish to bring together the friends and family in a setting of your choice I can provide you with a format and structure to suit your wishes.

Doing it Yourself

There are no rules that prevent you delivering a funeral celebration yourself. For some people the thought of having a total stranger involved in the process of you saying your final goodbyes feels completely wrong. l offer a telephone and email service to assist you with explaining the various options and formats you may want to follow, helping with your choices of music and poetry and proof reading your final script to make sure it is clear and doesn’t over run the time allowed.

If you subsequently ask me to take the celebration for you, this fee will be deducted

Burial or Cremation

I can be contacted either directly or through the funeral directors of your choice. From the moment you make contact I will focus my attention on delivering a celebration you will be proud of.

If possible I will visit you in person, and speak to extended family and friends to draw on their experiences of the persons whose funeral I am planning.

I will advise on length of funeral, content, individual contributions, and draft a carefully timed script for your consideration and approval.

On the day of the funeral I will deliver the funeral service and leave you with a presentation copy of the script.

Scattering or Interment of Ashes

All too often this stage can become a difficult and stressful experience.

I will assist you with planning the logistics and legalities of any planned interment, and help to provide a structure to the event. I will provide you with a scripted set of words that can be used on the day.

Finally, I will be on hand to assist throughout.
